Resize Image changes the width and height of a picture. Use it to meet the exact pixel dimensions a website, marketplace or form asks for, to make a huge camera photo suitable for the web, or to enlarge a small graphic.
Enter the new size in pixels, with the aspect ratio locked so nothing looks stretched, or scale by a percentage. Then save the result as JPG, PNG or WebP. High-quality resampling keeps the result sharp.

Tips for best results
To reduce the file size (KB) rather than the dimensions, use Compress Image, which has a target-size option. Common sizes are 1080 × 1080 for Instagram posts, 1200 × 630 for link previews, and 1920 px wide for full-screen website images. Making an image bigger than its original size cannot add detail, so expect some softness.
Compatibility and limits
The Resize Image tool works in all modern browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Samsung Internet, on computers, tablets and phones. Images are processed at their full original resolution. Very large photos (above about 50 megapixels) may exceed the memory limits of some mobile browsers, so if a phone struggles, try a computer or resize the image first. Your original file is never modified, because the result is saved as a new file.
Privacy: your files never leave your device
Your images are processed locally in your browser using the HTML5 canvas and WebAssembly. Photos are never uploaded, so personal pictures, ID documents and client work stay on your device. There is no account, and no copies are kept on any server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize without stretching?
Keep 'Keep aspect ratio' ticked. Change the width, and the height follows automatically.
Can I resize to an exact size like 600 × 600?
Yes. Untick 'Keep aspect ratio' and type both values. The image will be stretched to fit, so crop it to a square first with Crop Image to avoid distortion.
Does resizing reduce the file size?
Making an image smaller in pixels usually reduces its file size a lot.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Which formats can I resize?
Any image your browser can open: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP and SVG.
