Case Converter

Change the letter case of any text in one click, from UPPERCASE to camelCase.

Case Converter changes the capitalisation of your text instantly. Fix a paragraph typed with Caps Lock on, turn a headline into proper Title Case, or change variable names between camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case for programming.

Paste your text, click a button, and copy the result. Title Case leaves short words such as 'and', 'of' and 'the' in lowercase, as most style guides recommend, and Sentence case capitalises the first letter of every sentence.

How to use the Case Converter tool

  1. Paste or type your text in the box.
  2. Click the case style you want.
  3. The text is converted in place, so you can click another style to compare.
  4. Click Copy result.

  • Smart Title Case that keeps small words lowercase.
  • Developer cases: camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE.
  • Unicode-aware, so accented letters work.
  • Instant and private.

Tips for best results

Use Sentence case for body text and most UI labels, and Title Case for headlines, book titles and article names. For URL slugs, use kebab-case, and for file names in code projects, snake_case or kebab-case avoid problems with spaces. Proper nouns can't be detected automatically, so re-capitalise names after using lowercase or Sentence case.

Retyping text just to change its capitalisation wastes time and introduces typos. Whether you're cleaning up a spreadsheet of product names, formatting headings for a blog, or renaming variables in code, converting case in one click keeps the wording exactly the same while fixing the style.

Compatibility and limits

The Case Converter tool works in every modern browser on desktop and mobile and handles very long texts, even entire books, without slowing down. It understands Unicode, so it works with English as well as Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, emoji and accented letters. Because nothing is sent over the network, results appear instantly as you type or click.

Privacy: your files never leave your device

Everything you type or paste is processed instantly in your browser. Your text is never sent to a server, logged or stored, so it's safe to use with drafts, private notes and confidential documents.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix text typed in Caps Lock?

Paste it in and click Sentence case. You may need to re-capitalise names afterwards.

What is Title Case?

Each major word starts with a capital letter, while short words like 'of', 'and' and 'the' stay lowercase (except at the start).

What are camelCase and snake_case?

They are naming styles used in programming. camelCase joins words with capitals (myVariableName), and snake_case uses underscores (my_variable_name).

Is my text uploaded?

No. Conversion happens in your browser.

Does it work with non-English letters?

Yes. Letters with accents and other scripts that have upper and lower case are supported.
